The Itinerary

Fu Tak Chi Musuem

This humble, easily-missed street museum offers a captivating glimpse into the lives of Singapore's earliest Chinese immigrants. Housed within a restored temple, it showcases intricate miniatures depicting their arrival and daily struggles at Telok Ayer, alongside preserved artifacts that illuminate their customs and contributions.

Thian Hock Keng Temple

An intricately designed temple dedicated to Mazu, the Goddess of the Sea. It stands as a testament to the early immigrants' devotion and craftsmanship, with vibrant murals that may reveal more than they seemed at a glance.

Clan Associations @ Ann Siang Hill

Ann Siang Hill, a trendy hill spot in Singapore, was once the traditional home of clan associations and social clubs. Now all but a handful remain...

Masjid Jamae Mosque

One of the oldest mosques in Singapore, Masjid Jamae is famous for its architecture that blends eastern and western traditions - from Indian and Islamic styles to western and Greek influences.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Built in 2007, this temple gets its name from what the Buddhists regard as the left canine tooth of Buddha that is displayed on the temple's grounds. The Buddha Tooth Relic is housed in a giant stupa made from 320 kilograms of gold.
